Cowboy!America x Reader x Cop!England
This is a back story, so you'll at least have some sort of clue on what your relationship is with them both before you have lemonade.
~~~~~~~~~~'Another day...another shoulder ache. At least my two favorite boys can cheer me up! Especially Alfred's smile and Arthur's funny, yet cute, eyebrows.'
The young woman thought to herself before sighing softly, rubbing her left shoulder gently in fear of worsening the already aching soreness, wanting to ease it instead. Her job hadn't been the most pleasant recently, getting more work hours than she thought was even possible. Receiving late phone-calls, early morning meetings, after hours, so much of these tiring things could surely stress anyone out to the point they actually felt like ripping their hair out.
She should had gotten used to it though, for she has been running this business over seven years, in fact, today was her (Dream business's) seventh year anniversary. Her age was twenty years old when it all began, such a young age indeed. But, unlike most at that age, her mind was viciously determined on making her dream come true, choosing books over late night parties or dating. She was living proof that women were as hard-working and strong like most men, confident smirks sent to those who thought it wasn't possible.
When there's business, there's business partners, and it just so happened to be her two childhood friends. The forever cheerful Alfred F. Jones, and sarcastic gentlemen, Arthur Kirkland. They had met in preschool, meeting when she took notice of two boys fighting aggressively over a white teddy bear. It kind-of looked like another boy was crying in the background, though she shrugged it off as it simply being her imagination playing tricks.Breaking the brawl apart hastily, she began listing off reasons as to why best friends shouldn't fight, giving wise words of wisdom; "Make pasta, not war." Hearing a faint 'vee~' soon after. Surprisingly, they had nodded in agreement, introducing themselves in their own, unique ways.
"Hiya! I'm Alfred, the best hero since superman! I WILL SAVE THE WORLD FROM GIRL COOTIES!" Loud and proud, the boy was until a sneaky glint sparked the little girl's eyes. Giving him a swift kiss onto his right cheek, she giggled happily as he started screaming bloody murder.
"Well, um, I'm Arthur...pleased to meet you, wait, no! I-I mean, I could care less...! Um...!" Cutting him off, she gave him a playful hug before smiling joyfully, getting a adorable blush in return, along with more stuttering.
High-school came and went quickly, Alfred trying desperately for the young girl to throw wild parties, while going to them as well. Luckily, she had another great friend who agreed fully with her decision. Having Arthur immediately taking her side, all Alfred could do was join Tamaki, an exchange student from Japan or France, in his emo corner...But, with those irresistible puppy-dog looks, they had manged getting the two bookworms out of the library, and onto the dance floor a couple of times.
And then, it happened. Those dreaded, awkward, teenage feelings. It first began with Arthur, naturally since the two spent many times together studying. Oddly enough, he was the one to announce his feelings first after a long study session. Of course, she blushed, all-the-while smiling with great joy as she agreed quickly to his request of having dinner Saturday night.
Alfred seemed happy about their new relationship, though Arthur knew it was far from it. You see, Alfred began having feelings for her first, something the British man knew of. In the beginning, he couldn't care less, but when his own heart started yearning for her exceedingly, he made it his personal mission to confess before his loud-mouth 'friend' could.
What Arthur didn't know, was that she also harbored feelings for the energetic American.
But, like most high-school romance, collage successfully ripped them apart. Actually, Alfred and Arthur went to the same collage somewhere in America while she was accepted to another one in England. They tried keeping contact, but long distance relationships never seem to last.
Years passed quickly since then, and even in collage, did the young woman begin making her dreams of owning (Dream business) into reality. Hard work, struggles, and moments of wanting to give up, it had finally happened. Like most, it started out small, slowly working its way further into the spotlight. After graduating with honors, she started searching for professional business partners.
Boy, did she get a surprise. One week into looking, still not finding anyone with the right requirements, two men came in at the same time for their interviews, two extremely recognizable men. She almost immediately pulled them into tight hugs of happiness, causing confused looks to spread across their faces. That is, until she started speaking, memories of her sweet voice flashing brightly throughout their minds.
And here we are now, seven years later. Old feelings returned along with them on that very day, so living together as roommates surely didn't help. Three years down the line, did an old flame between Arthur and (Name) burst back into a heated inferno, reminding them of their past relationship of sweet kisses and long nights studying...body reactions.
She loved him, so very dearly, but Alfred...she loved him just as much. She felt absolutely horrible for loving two men in such a way, but from what she could tell, they both were in-love with her. It wouldn't be half as bad if they weren't best-friends. One crazy ride after the other, seemingly on a wild roller coaster that had no end to its twisted ups and downs.
How could she choose one when she was deeply in-love with them both, knowing they loved her as well?
NOTE: Arthur quit business after five years to become a policeman.
